Swiss Pharma Science Day (SPhSD)
The Swiss Pharma Science Day (SPhSD) is an annual event organized by the SAPhS. It offers a unique platform for researchers in the pharmaceutical sciences to network, exchange ideas, and explore the diverse research areas of our members.
One of the main goals of the SPhSD is to foster professional and social connections among students, postdocs, and established scientists from industry, academia, clinical pharmacy, health administration, and community pharmacies. For students and early-career researchers, the SPhSD provides a valuable opportunity to learn about career paths and opportunities in various sectors. Established scientists, in turn, can meet promising young talents who may be suitable candidates for positions in their organizations.

18. Swiss Pharma Science Day 2025: Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Recent Academic Appointments in Switzerland
The 18th SPhSD is placed under the theme of «Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences – Recent Academic Appointments in Switzerland». Seven recently appointed colleagues from the universities of Basel, Bern and Geneva, and ETH Zurich will address pharmaceutical sciences from the perspective of their respective disciplines. As in previous years, MSc and PhD students, and post-doctoral scientists will have the opportunity to present their latest research in a poster session, and three abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations. The scientific part will be followed by the award ceremony and the traditional apéro.
